Ronseal 10 Year Woodstain in Natural Oak provides long-lasting protection for exterior smooth-planed wood surfaces such as doors and windows. This water-based stain is designed for easy application without base coats or primers, helping maintain the appearance of timber for up to 10 years. It dries to a satin finish and is formulated to resist rain and frost after a short initial drying period. The product is suitable for exterior use on clean, dry, dust-free surfaces and requires three coats for best durability. Typical coverage is around 18 m² per litre, with a 250 ml container size, and it is low in VOC. While it offers durable, weather-resistant protection, it is not suitable for decking.

Usage and suitability

Not suitable for decking. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from old finishes or dust. Lightly sand to smooth imperfections and improve adhesion. Clean with white spirit or a suitable cleaner and allow to dry. Stir thoroughly before use. Test on a small area first. Apply three coats for best durability; no base coat or primer is required.
