Ronseal 34961 Diamond Hard Floor Wax Natural Oak 2.5L

Ronseal Diamond Hard Floor Wax is a high-performance oil-based wax designed to give wooden floors a natural appearance while offering very high protection against scratches, scuffs, and household chemicals. This 2.5 litre product covers up to 20 square metres per litre and requires three coats for a durable, wax finish. It is suitable for use on any type of wooden floor and aims to preserve a natural feel while enhancing longevity. The formulation is oil-based with a medium VOC level. The product emphasizes easy application and a relatively quick touch-dry time, with a drying window of about 30 minutes and a coat time of approximately two hours between coats. For installation, room temperature should be above 10°C and adequate ventilation is advised. Basic preparation includes removing furniture, sanding the floor with 120 grit sandpaper if it was previously painted, vacuuming dust, and wiping the boards with white spirit before stirring the wax thoroughly and applying with a brush.

How to apply

1. Ensure room temperature is above 10°C and ventilate the area (open doors/windows).
2. Remove all furniture from the room.
3. If the floor was previously painted, sand with a floor sander using 120 grit sandpaper.
4. Vacuum the dust and wipe down the floorboards with white spirit.
5. Stir the wax thoroughly before application.
6. Apply the wax with a brush, in the direction of the floor or as desired.
7. Allow touch dry for 30 minutes between coats and wait about 2 hours before applying the next coat for a total of 3 coats.
