Ronseal Anti-Bacterial Worktop Oil with Silver Guard technology uses the antibacterial qualities of Silver to protect and maintain hardwood worktops. It provides long-lasting antibacterial protection, killing bacteria such as E. coli and MRSA on contact, making it suitable for food preparation areas. The water-resistant oil penetrates deep into the wood to nourish and help resist splitting and cracking, while leaving a clear, soft sheen finish that enhances the natural beauty of the wood. The product comes in a 1 litre tin and covers up to 10 m² per litre. It is compatible with hardwood worktops and breakfast bars, and requires surface preparation by cleaning and ensuring the area is dry. Dry time is about 24 hours, with 24 hours between coats, and 3 to 4 coats are recommended for best protection.

Usage

Prepare the surface by cleaning and ensuring it is dry. Apply in coats, allowing 24 hours between coats. For best protection, apply 3 to 4 coats.
