Ronseal 3-in-1 Basecoat is a white basecoat designed to cover hairline cracks, achieve bold colours, and seal new plaster in a single coat. It offers high coverage and a smooth, durable finish suitable for DIY projects. The product is listed as 2.5 litres with a coverage of up to 10 m² per litre, and it dries to touch in about 2 hours with overpainting possible after 4 hours. It can be applied with a brush, roller, or sprayer, and extra coats may be needed for dramatic colour changes. To apply, ensure the room temperature is above 10°C and ventilate the area; prepare surfaces by covering what you don’t want painted and removing loose material; clean the surface with a damp cloth and stir thoroughly before use. After painting, clean brushes and rollers in warm soapy water.
