Ronseal High-Performance Wood Filler is a chemically bonded filler designed for tough repairs on virtually any wood damage, suitable for interior and exterior use. It fills to any depth without shrinking or cracking, and is ideal for deep repairs over 5 mm in window frames, sills, doors, and door frames. Available in Natural, Dark, or White, the filler works with a catalyst to activate the hardening process and dries in approximately 30 minutes, after which it can be sanded, planed, filed, nailed, screwed, stained, varnished, or painted. The product is designed to flex with the wood to prevent further movement and cracking.”

Usage

To use, remove rotten wood and treat with Wood Hardener for better adhesion. Mix a pea-sized amount of hardener with a golf ball-sized amount of filler until uniform in color, then test on a small area to confirm color match. Pack the mixture into the hole, leaving some raised. The filler is designed for deep fills and can be used with the catalyst, which activates the hardening process. The catalyst is a white, fast-acting component that requires only a pea-sized amount for a golf ball-sized filler. For application, ensure use indoors or outdoors as needed. After setting, the material dries in about 30 minutes and can be sanded, planed, filed, nailed, screwed, stained, varnished, or painted. This combination provides tough, long-lasting repairs for window frames, sills, doors, and door frames.
