Ronseal Interior Varnish Satin Clear 750ml

Ronseal Interior Varnish is a quick-drying, Diamond Hard protective coating for interior wood. It is available in Satin, Gloss, and Matt finishes and comes in a 750ml tin. The water-based varnish provides protection against heat, scratches, and water, helping to maintain a beautiful, fade-resistant finish. It is suitable for bare or previously varnished wood, with a typical coverage of about 8 m² per liter. The finish remains clear and enhances the wood’s natural grain without yellowing, offering a low-odour option for indoor use. Drying is fast, with touch dry in approximately 20 minutes and recoat after 2 hours, enabling quicker project progress.

How to apply

1. Prepare the surface: clean with a cloth and white spirit to remove grease and dirt.
2. Sand the surface with 120 grit sandpaper to smooth patches and remove old coatings.
3. Wipe away dust with a damp cloth and allow the surface to dry thoroughly.
4. Stir the varnish before use.
5. Apply thin, even coats over bare or previously varnished wood; allow to dry and recoat as needed (touch dry after ~20 minutes; recoat after ~2 hours).
