Ronseal Quick Drying Woodstain is a semi-transparent satin finish woodstain designed to color, waterproof, and protect exterior softwood and hardwood surfaces. Supplied in a re-sealable tin, it is highly water-repellent and rainproof in about 30 minutes, helping to prevent cracking and peeling and offering protection from sun damage. The product is intended for use on doors and window frames and can be applied to bare or previously stained wood. It provides a satin or gloss finish and uses a water-based formulation with low VOC levels, supporting simpler cleanup and lower environmental impact. For best results, apply under suitable conditions when wood is dry and temperatures are warm enough, and follow proper surface preparation guidelines.

Usage

The woodstain is easy to apply and colours, waterproofs and protects exterior softwood and hardwood. It is suitable for doors and window frames and can be used on bare or previously stained wood. Before application, choose a warm (above 10°C) dry day and ensure the wood is dry. For stained or unvarnished wood, sand thoroughly with 120 grit sandpaper to remove old stain or varnish.
