Ronseal Quick Drying Woodstain Satin Mahogany 750ml

Ronseal Quick Drying Woodstain is a semi-transparent satin finish suitable for exterior wood surfaces, designed to color, waterproof, and protect both softwood and hardwood. It comes in a re-sealable tin and is available in Mahogany. The product is highly water-repellent and rainproof in 30 minutes, with a complete dry time of around four hours and a coat time of four hours for three coats. Coverage is up to 20 m² per litre. It uses a water-based base and has a low VOC formulation. The stain is brush-applied and recommended for doors and window frames, with a finish that resists cracking and peeling and provides protection against sun exposure. Size options include 0.75 L, 2.5 L, and 0.25 L.

Usage

1. Ensure surface and ambient temperature are above 10°C and the day is dry.
2. Sand bare or stained wood with 120 grit to remove old stain or varnish; clean surface to remove dust.
3. Wipe surface with white spirit and a cloth to remove dust and oil; allow to dry.
4. Apply with a brush in thin coats; three coats recommended; allow four hours between coats; final drying time around four hours after the last coat.
