Thompson's Roof & Gutter Sealant is designed to flex with the natural movement of roofs, providing a long-lasting repair for roofs and various types of guttering. It resists cracking and peeling and outperforms traditional bitumen-based sealants, delivering a tough and durable fix. The sealant is black in colour and comes in a 310ml cartridge, suitable for metal and plastic guttering. It can leave a tacky surface for a few hours, so handling should be avoided until cured. The product is applied with a standard sealant gun and is designed to seal joints and gaps by adhering on both sides of the repair and smoothing with a wetted spatula.

Installation

Preparation: Remove dust, dirt, or algae with a stiff brush; pack deep gaps if needed. Cut the nozzle at a 45-degree angle to match gap width. Fit the cartridge into a standard sealant gun. Apply sealant slowly and evenly at an angle, ensuring coverage on both sides of the repair. For joining gutters, apply sealant to both surfaces and press them together. Smooth down with a wetted spatula. Note: The product may remain tacky after a few hours; avoid touching it.
