Ronseal Shed & Fence Preserver Autumn Brown 5 Litre

Ronseal Shed and Fence Preserver is formulated to provide colour and protection to sheds and fences with a deep penetrating 2-in-1 formula that eradiates woodworm and helps prevent rot and decay. It includes water repellents to waterproof timber against water ingress and imparts an Autumn Brown colour. The product is supplied in a 5 litre container and is suitable for application by brush or dipping. Before use, surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from coatings; for timber with decay, remove decayed wood and replace with sound, treated timber, cutting out and burning decayed wood at least 45 cm beyond the damaged area. The second coat should be applied after the first coat is fully dry, with a minimum of two coats covering all faces, sides, joints, and end grains.

Usage

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from coatings such as paint, varnish, or stain. For timbers with decay, remove decayed wood and replace with sound, treated timber; cut out and burn decayed wood at least 45 cm beyond the damaged area. Shake well before use to ensure uniform colour. Apply a minimum of two even coats, covering all faces, sides, and joints, paying particular attention to the end grain. The second coat should be applied after the first coat is fully dry. Avoid contact with bitumen, bitumen felt or mastics and plastics.
