Ronseal Super Flexible Wood Primer & Undercoat is a dual-purpose primer and undercoat designed for exterior and interior wood. It uses a highly flexible resin that moves with the wood to maintain adhesion and help prevent cracking and peeling of the topcoat. Its stain-locking mechanism blocks discolouration from extractives and tannins found in resinous woods, making it suitable for priming hardwoods such as mahogany, oak, and teak. The product primes and undercoats in one coat and provides a solid base for any topcoat. It is water-based, low in VOC, and can be used on exterior doors, window frames, cladding, fascias, and other smooth wood surfaces, as well as interior wood. A grey primer is ideal for darker colours, while white can be used for lighter colours.
