Its unique formula penetrates deeper into the wood to increase durability, while a lightly tinted finish delivers a more natural appearance. Utilizing water-based Linseed Oil technology, it colors and waterproofs your deck in one step, achieving rainproof status in 90 minutes with the option to recoate in 4 hours. Primarily designed for pre-treated decking, this product is available in Natural Pine and comes in a 2.5 L container, offering a coverage of 6.4 m² per litre for two coats.

Usage and preparation

Primarily for use on pre-treated decking. For untreated grey and weathered wood, use Ronseal Decking Restorer to restore natural colour before applying the oil. For previously finished decking, use Ronseal Decking Cleaner and Reviver to remove dust, grease, oil, mildew, algae and other contaminants, and remove any loose, flaking, or peeling coatings. If changing to a contrasting colour, ensure all previous finishes are removed using Ronseal Decking Stripper. Protect cut ends with Ronseal Decking End Grain Preserver. New wood should weather naturally for about six months before application. Clean the deck with Ronseal Decking Cleaner and Reviver, open the pores with a scrubbing brush, rinse thoroughly, and allow to dry fully before coating. Test effectiveness by water beading; if not beading, re-clean and retest before applying oil. The shade label indicates approximate colour and may vary based on texture, grain, porosity, wood type, and previous treatments.
