Ronseal uPVC Paint revitalizes and protects uPVC windows and doors with a durable, flexible finish designed to resist cracking, mould, and staining. This water-based coating is suitable for uPVC surfaces such as windows, doors, and trims, and is designed to withstand weather conditions while providing a renewed, satin look. It can be applied directly to the surface without a primer and becomes rain-ready in about an hour. Coverage is approximately 6.5 square meters per litre, and two coats are typically recommended. The product offers low VOC levels and can deliver up to 10 years of protection when properly applied. Suitable for brushes, rollers, or sprayers, it comes in 750 ml and 2.5 L sizes. Surface preparation involves cleaning, drying thoroughly, and light sanding to achieve a smooth finish, with specific sanding guidance depending on the condition of any existing paint.

Preparation

1. Ensure surface is clean, dry, and free from dirt, dust, and grease before painting.
2. Lightly sand the surface with 180–220 grit sandpaper for a smooth finish; if repainting over existing paint in good condition, use 240 grit; for flaking or cracked paint, sand with 120 grit.
3. Proceed with painting using your preferred application method (brush, roller, or sprayer).
