Roodeberg Classic Red Blend is a celebrated South African wine with a rich heritage dating back to 1949. Crafted by the pioneering KWV estate, this robust red is named after the "Red Mountain" of Paarl. Sourced from premier Western Cape vineyards, it is a sophisticated blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and Petit Verdot, with smaller portions of Tannat.This deep ruby-red wine is matured for 12–14 months in French and American oak barrels. It presents a complex bouquet of raspberry, mulberry, cassis, and dark plum, elegantly intertwined with notes of cedary oak, dark chocolate, and a hint of spice. The palate is smooth and velvety with well-integrated tannins, leading to a persistent finish of tobacco and vanilla.At 14% ABV, this dry wine offers immediate enjoyment and excellent aging potential. Serve at 16–18°C alongside grilled meats, roasted vegetables, or hearty stews. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Contains sulphites.
