Round Sphere Sponge Filter Bio Foam For Fish Tank Aquarium Breeding (Small)

The large sphere sponge filter measures 14.5cm in diameter. It measures 20.5cm tall, and 14.5cm tall without tube. It is suitable for aquariums up to 20 gallons. Aerobic bacteria colonise the sponge providing a bacterial surface to facilitate the nitrogen cycle. In addition, the sponge traps larger waste particles and mechanically cleans the water without trapping baby fish. They are useful as a breeding filter or as a secondary filter in the aquarium. These sponge filters can also be used as pre filter to an external filter inlet pipe.
