Rustins Aluminium Wood Primer ALWP500 500ml

Rustins Aluminium Wood Primer is an oil-based wood primer containing aluminium pigment to enhance water resistance. It is designed to seal bare wood surfaces and improve adhesion for subsequent coats of paint, making it suitable for exterior use. The product comes in a 500 ml size. For best results, ensure the wood surface is smooth and clean before application, sand if necessary, and seal knots with Rustins Knotting if present. After priming, fill any holes or cracks with Rustins Wood Filler and allow the filler to dry before applying topcoats. Apply the primer evenly and allow it to touch dry within 4 hours, then proceed with the desired exterior-compatible paints or finishes. This primer is suitable for use on bare wood surfaces and can be used in conjunction with various paints and finishes once primed.
