Rustins Wood Dye Dark Oak 1 Litre

Rustins Wood Dye in Dark Oak is a quick-drying, penetrating oil-based stain designed for bare wood prior to applying Rustins finishes. It provides a rich, natural wood shade that can be intermixed with other shades for a variety of finishes. Suitable for both interior and exterior use, this non-grain-raising dye offers deep penetration to enhance the wood’s natural grain and texture. The product is supplied in a 1 litre container and covers approximately 20–24 square metres per litre, depending on timber type. Drying time is typically 6–8 hours. Apply 1 or 2 coats on softwoods and one coat on hardwoods, then overcoat with a protective clear finish such as varnish or Danish oil. The dye can be applied with a brush or cloth, and is offered in multiple shades that may be intermixed for a wide range of natural-looking results. It is non-fading and non-bleeding, and conforms to safety regulations as described.
