Rustins Wood Dye Ebony 1 Litre

Rustins Wood Dye is an oil-based, quick-drying penetrating stain designed for bare or stripped wood before applying a finish. It enhances the natural appearance of the wood with vibrant, non-fading colors and does not raise the grain. Suitable for interior and exterior use, it can be intermixed with other shades to create custom colors and is compatible with Rustins wood finishes such as varnish and Danish oil. The Ebony dye type provides deep penetration to reveal wood grain while offering long-lasting color that dries efficiently for smoother project progression.

Technical specifications

Type: Oil-based wood dye. Color: Ebony. Size: 1 liter. Coverage: approximately 20–24 sq m per liter depending on wood type. Drying time: 6–8 hours. Compatibility: compatible with Rustins wood finishes such as varnish, Danish oil, and other suitable clear protective coatings. Application: apply 1–2 coats on soft woods, and 1 coat on hard woods with a brush or cloth; surface must be clean and dry before application; overcoat with a protective finish after dyeing. Suitable for both interior and exterior use; can be intermixed with other shades to create custom colors.
