General description Rustins Wood Dye is an oil-based, non-grain raising wood dye designed for use on bare wood prior to finishing with any Rustins wood finishes or other compatible finishes. It is available in a variety of shades, allowing for the creation of an infinite range of natural wood colors. This quick-drying penetrating stain is suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Technical specifications Color: Medium Oak Size: 1 Litre Coverage: Approximately 20-24 sq m per litre, depending on the type of timber Drying time: 6-8 hours Usage For soft woods, apply 1 or 2 coats, while only one coat is recommended for hard woods. It must be overcoated with a protective clear finish, such as varnish or Danish oil. Application can be done using a brush or cloth. Other information Conforms to the Toys (Safety) Regulations 1995, BS:EN71 Part 3, making it safe for use on toys.
