Rustins Wood Dye Red Mahogany 250ml

Rustins Wood Dye is an oil-based, quick-drying penetrating stain designed for use on bare wood before applying Rustins or compatible finishes. It enhances the natural appearance of wood without raising the grain and is suitable for both interior and exterior use. The dye comes in multiple shades, including Red Mahogany, and can be intermixed with other shades to create a range of natural tones. It provides deep penetration, helping to preserve the wood’s texture and grain while delivering color. The product is available in a 250 ml size and can be applied with a brush or cloth, offering 1 to 2 coats for soft woods or 1 coat for hard woods to reach the desired depth. Drying time is typically 6–8 hours, allowing a relatively quick progression to finishing coats.

Usage
