Sadolin Classic Wood Protection 2.5 Litre Antique Pine

Sadolin Classic All Purpose Woodstain is a highly versatile solution designed to deeply absorb into timber, delivering durable protection for large areas of wood both indoors and outdoors. Available in Antique Pine, it can be used on decking, fencing, cladding and other exterior or interior surfaces. It works well as a basecoat for new joinery that may be treated with Sadolin Extra, and it can be overcoated with other Sadolin products to suit your finish needs. The stain offers a translucent matte to semi-matte finish, with more sheen on less absorbent wood, and it provides long-lasting protection against weathering.

This woodstain is suitable for planed softwood and hardwood, offering coverage of up to 15m² per litre, or up to 8m² per litre on rough sawn timber. It is touch dry in 4–6 hours and can be recoated after 16–24 hours. It is designed for interior and exterior use and remains effective on surfaces such as decking, cladding, fascias, and garden furniture. The formulation resists blistering and flaking and can be used alone or alongside other products for enhanced protection.

It is compatible as a basecoat for new doors and windows and can be overcoated with Sadolin Extra, Sadolin Clearcoat, Sadolin Yacht Varnish, or Sadolin Outdoor Varnish, allowing for flexible application and finishing options.
