Sadolin Classic Wood Protection 2.5 Litre - Burma Teak

Sadolin Classic All Purpose Woodstain is a versatile, protective finish designed to deeply penetrate timber for durable weather resistance. Suitable for interior and exterior use, it can be applied as a standalone stain or as a basecoat for subsequent coats, including when using Sadolin Extra on new doors and windows. The Burma Teak colour provides a warm, natural look, with a translucent matte to semi-matte finish that may show more sheen on less absorbent wood. It suits large surfaces such as decking, fencing and cladding, and offers protection from wear and weather while allowing timber grain to show through. The stain is formulated for deep absorption and features long-lasting protection, with touch dry times of 4–6 hours and recoat times of 16–24 hours. Coverage varies by timber type, up to 15m² per litre on planed softwood or hardwood, and up to 8m² per litre on rough sawn timber. It is not suitable for surfaces already coated with a medium or high build coating. The product is available in a range of colours to suit different aesthetics and projects.

The stain can be used as a basecoat for new joinery that will be treated with Sadolin Extra, and it is compatible with other Sadolin products for an enhanced finish.

1. Install by applying with a brush.
