Description
Sadolin Extra Durable Woodstain in Redwood provides long-lasting protection for joinery such as windows, doors and conservatories. Suitable for both softwood and hardwood, it offers flexibility and water repellence with a translucent semi-gloss sheen. This finish helps resist flaking, peeling and blistering, helping your wood surfaces stay in good condition. It is not intended for decking or areas subjected to heavy wear. Coverage is up to 15 m² per litre per coat, with a touch dry time of 4–6 hours and a recoat time of 16–24 hours. For ultimate durability on hardwoods, it is recommended to use Sadolin Classic as a base coat, with Sadolin Extra Durable as the finishing coat. The Redwood colour provides a warm, eye-catching look, though online representations may not perfectly match the physical tin.
In use, this woodstain is designed to pair well with Sadolin Classic to maximise durability, particularly on hardwoods. It delivers water-repellent and wear-resistant protection while maintaining a natural-looking finish on joinery.
