Description
Experience Sadolin Extra Durable Woodstain in Rosewood, a long-lasting finish designed for joinery such as windows, doors and conservatories. This flexible, water-repellent coating protects softwood and hardwood surfaces from flaking, peeling and blistering, while adding a translucent semi-gloss sheen. Suitable for new and existing wood, it offers durable protection and can be used in conjunction with Sadolin Classic for enhanced longevity, particularly on hardwoods. The Rosewood colour provides a classic red-brown tone, though colour appearance may vary between online images and the tin.
The product is touch-dry in 4–6 hours and can be recoated after 16–24 hours. Coverage is up to 15 m² per litre on planed softwood and hardwood joinery, with two coats recommended. It is not suitable for decking or areas subjected to heavy wear and abrasion. For best results on new wood, Sadolin Classic can be used as a base coat, with Sadolin Extra Durable Woodstain applied as the finishing coat to achieve ultimate durability.
