Sadolin Extra Durable Woodstain in Teak is designed for both softwood and hardwood surfaces, excluding decking or areas that experience heavy wear and abrasion. It is particularly effective for joinery applications such as doors and windows, providing long-lasting protection through its flexible nature and water repellency. The product offers tough weather protection and UV advanced protection, helping to prevent peeling, blistering, and flaking while preserving long-lasting colour. Specifications include a 5 litre size, coverage up to 15 m² per litre on planed softwood/hardwood, drying to touch in 4–6 hours, and recoat readiness after 16–24 hours with typically two coats. For optimum durability on new wood, using Sadolin Classic as a base coat is recommended, especially when treating hardwoods. The stain is best applied with a brush.
