Sadolin Extra Woodstain - Mahogany - 2.5L

Sadolin Extra Durable Woodstain in Mahogany provides long-lasting protection for joinery surfaces such as windows, doors and conservatories. It is designed to be flexible and water-repellent, helping to defend both softwood and hardwood while delivering a translucent semi-gloss finish. The stain resists common issues like peeling, blistering and flaking, helping maintain colour and condition over time. This product is suitable for use as a finishing coat and can be applied in conjunction with Sadolin Classic for enhanced durability on hardwoods.

The Mahogany colour adds a distinctive reddish-brown tone to wooden surfaces, offering a durable solution that can help preserve the appearance of newly treated joinery. Coverage is up to 15 m² per litre on planed softwood and hardwood, subject to porosity and surface preparation. Touch dry times are typically four to six hours, with recoat times of 16 to 24 hours. Colours shown online may not perfectly match the colour in the tin.

For optimum durability on new wood, it is recommended to use Sadolin Classic as a base coat, especially when treating hardwoods. In this application, Sadolin Classic acts as the base coat, while Sadolin Extra serves as the finishing coat.
