A minimum of 50 gallons of useable cold water is required for a full bathroom and a minimum 30 gallons for a shower or ensuite. If you are unable to install a larger cold water storage tank, you can link multiple tanks in 28mm pipework to achieve the required capacity (linked tanks should be sat at the same level). Where it is not possible to add additional cold water tanks, a Water starvation Protection Kit (WSP) can be used.
