SALMO Limited Edition Fatso Floating Glidebait 85g 140 mmUnleash the legendary power of a true predator-hunting icon with the SALMO Limited Edition Fatso Floating Glidebait. This 140 mm, 85g model is a heavyweight contender designed with one purpose: to entice and trigger aggressive strikes from the largest and most cautious trophy fish. The Fatso has earned its reputation in the angling world as a uniquely effective lure, and this limited edition run elevates its appeal with exclusive, highly sought-after colour patterns. The magic of the Fatso lies in its revolutionary action, a mesmerising hybrid between a classic crankbait wobble and the erratic darting of a jerkbait. On a straight, steady retrieve, it carves through the water with a wide, lazy S-curve action that perfectly mimics a large, confident baitfish. This powerful wake and rolling motion are often enough to draw predators in from a distance. However, the true versatility is revealed when you impart twitches and jerks with your rod tip. With each pull, the Fatso darts erratically to the side, flashing its profile and imitating a wounded or fleeing fish—an irresistible signal that turns followers into biters. As a floating model, this 85g Fatso offers distinct tactical advantages. It is the ultimate tool for fishing over shallow flats, submerged weed beds, and other underwater structures where big predators ambush their prey. You can work it slowly across the surface or crank it down to its running depth and then pause the retrieve. On the pause, the lure will slowly rise towards the surface, a movement that is notoriously effective for triggering explosive strikes from hesitant pike, musky, and zander that have been tracking the lure. This hang time in the strike zone is a proven technique for converting follows into successful hook-ups.This exclusive release celebrates the Fatso´s legacy with four stunning, limited-run colours, each meticulously designed to excel in different water conditions and light levels.Features:- Four limited edition Fatso 14 colours: Holo Perch, Phantom Perch, Mat Tiger and Wounded Emerald Perch- Available in both sinking and floating versionsBuilt to withstand the crushing force of apex predators, the Salmo Fatso is a must-have for any serious lure angler.
