Its design has been meticulously perfected to trigger aggressive strikes in both rivers and stillwaters. The Hornet's powerful, high-frequency wobble creates an intense vibration and flash that predators find simply irresistible. This is the action that fish can feel from a distance, drawing them in for a closer look before they commit to a decisive attack. At a universal size of 50mm, it fits squarely in the popular 10-70 mm range, perfectly mimicking the most common baitfish that predators feed on.Unmatched Performance and Key FeaturesThe genius of the SALMO Hornet lies in its combination of an aggressive swimming action and a floating buoyancy. On a steady retrieve, it dives quickly to its working depth, shaking and vibrating with an intensity that few other Crankbaits can match. However, the true magic happens on the pause. Stop reeling, and the lure will slowly rise towards the surface, perfectly imitating a struggling or wounded baitfish. This rising action is a classic strike trigger, often provoking a reaction from otherwise wary or neutral fish.Every single SALMO Hornet is built for durability and performance. It features an internal structure engineered for maximum strength, ensuring it can withstand brutal attacks from powerful fish. Each lure is individually hand-tuned and tank-tested by SALMO's experts before it leaves the factory. This commitment to quality guarantees that every Hornet you purchase will swim perfectly right out of the box, ready to deliver the legendary action it's famous for. Outfitted with two razor-sharp, premium-grade treble hooks, it ensures an excellent hook-up ratio, converting more strikes into landed fish. How to Fish the Hornet 5FThe Hornet is incredibly effective with a simple cast-and-retrieve technique. In rivers, cast it slightly downstream and retrieve it at a medium pace to feel the full force of its wobble. For a different presentation, cast it upstream and retrieve it just faster than the current speed, this keeps the lure shallow and creates a frantic fleeing action. For trolling, the Hornet is a true champion, holding its depth and maintaining its irresistible action even at various speeds. The stop-and-go retrieve is particularly deadly in lakes and reservoirs, using the floating characteristic to trigger strikes from following fish.---Technical Specifications:* Model: SALMO Hornet H5F* Type: Floating Crankbait* Length: 50 mm (5 cm)* Weight: 7 g* Diving Depth (Casting): 1.5 m* Diving Depth (Trolling): 2.5 m* Action: High-Frequency Wobble* Recommended Line: 0.20 mm Monofilament / Fluorocarbon* Target Species: Perch, Zander, Trout, Pike, Chub, Bass. tradeinn Waveinn
