It is another Salmo classic that has lived to see its many imitations made by our competitors. This fact itself is proof of this lure's unbelievable effectiveness. Most anglers agree that this is still the best perch imitation - a fish common in all European waters. This lure is available in many variants, all of which perfectly cover the many situations lure anglers will face. What sets the Salmo PERCH apart is its signature side-to-side wobble and powerful, aggressive action that sends intense vibrations through the water column. This unique movement perfectly mimics a distressed or fleeing baitfish, creating a disturbance that big predators simply cannot ignore. It is a powerful trigger that incites instinctive, explosive strikes from even the most cautious and wary fish like pike and zander. The floating nature of this 120mm model offers exceptional versatility. When cast, you can employ a stop-and-go retrieve, allowing the lure to slowly rise during pauses—a technique that is deadly for suspended or less active fish. This floating characteristic also allows you to work it effectively over submerged structures, weed beds, and snags. Simply pause the retrieve and let the lure float up and over the obstacle, minimizing hang-ups and keeping you in the strike zone longer. It is equally devastating when trolled at various speeds, allowing you to cover vast areas of water and locate active fish efficiently.Specifically crafted to provoke apex predators, the Salmo PERCH is the go-to choice for targeting monster Pike, trophy Zander, and even Musky. Its substantial profile and weight make it an ideal meal for a large predator looking for a significant energy return, ensuring you´re presenting a target worthy of their attention.
