SALMO Slider Floating 70 mm: The Legendary Glider That Revolutionized Predator FishingUnlock a new dimension of angling with the SALMO Slider Floating Lipless Crankbait, a lure that has earned its legendary status among serious predator anglers worldwide. This is not just another lure, it´s a specialized tool designed to provoke savage strikes from the most cautious and wary fish. The Slider introduces an unparalleled gliding action that sets it apart from any traditional crankbait in your tackle box.The true magic of the Slider lies in its signature walk-the-dog action performed just beneath the surface. With each twitch or pull of your rod tip, the Slider darts erratically from side to side, perfectly mimicking a disoriented or wounded baitfish. This unpredictable, sweeping glide is a powerful trigger for predators like pike, zander, musky, and oversized perch, appealing to their most basic predatory instincts. Unlike standard retrieve lures, the Slider puts you in complete control. Short, sharp jerks create a quick, frantic dance, while longer, smoother pulls result in a wide, elegant glide that can draw fish in from a distance. This 70 mm floating model offers incredible versatility. Its buoyancy allows you to work it effectively over shallow flats, weed beds, and submerged timber where sinking lures would inevitably snag. The ability to pause the retrieve is a game-changer, the Slider will hang tantalizingly in the water column before slowly rising, often inciting a strike from following fish that were hesitant to commit. This stop-and-go presentation is deadly in post-frontal conditions or when targeting neutral, suspended fish.As a premier choice within the Lipless Crankbaits category, the Slider's unique profile and internal balance deliver a performance all its own. Its design ensures maximum side-to-side movement with minimal forward travel, keeping it in the strike zone longer. This specific 17g model is perfectly weighted for long, accurate casts, allowing you to cover vast amounts of water and reach distant targets with precision. Falling within the versatile 11-19 gr weight class and the popular 10-70 mm size range, it represents an ideal baitfish profile for a wide array of freshwater predators.Master the art of the glide and discover why the Salmo Slider is a must-have in any serious angler´s arsenal.
