Salmo THRILL 70mm 7g - The Ultimate Asp Hunting Minnow LureUnleash the ultimate weapon for targeting one of Europe´s most challenging freshwater predators with the Salmo THRILL 7g 70mm minnow. This unique crankbait is not just another lure, it is a precision-engineered tool designed specifically for the art of hunting asp. The THRILL is the ideal and most convincing imitation of a bleak – the asp's favorite and most frequently hunted prey. When other lures fail to provoke a strike from these notoriously wary fish, the THRILL steps in to deliver unmatched performance and trigger explosive attacks. The success of this lure lies in its masterful design and incredible action. The Salmo THRILL´s shape has been meticulously crafted to mirror the slender profile of a fleeing baitfish. Combined with a high-frequency, flashy action, this lure is so realistic that it becomes incredibly difficult for predators to tell the difference from a live fish in distress. Its rapid, vibrating movement through the water perfectly mimics the panicked escape of a small fish, an irresistible signal to any nearby asp. For maximum effect, the primary technique is a super-fast retrieve with the rod tip held high, keeping the lure just under the surface to create a V-shaped wake that drives asp into a feeding frenzy.Beyond its primary function, the THRILL boasts exceptional casting capabilities. The increased weight and unique aerodynamics of the 7g model allow you to achieve phenomenal casting distances, putting previously unreachable fish well within your range. This ability to cover vast expanses of water and reach distant feeding zones is a game-changer, allowing you to present your lure to fish that have never seen one before. You can also vary your retrieve, let the lure fall on a tight line and it will flutter seductively from side to side, often drawing strikes from predators observing from below. While purpose-built for asp, the Salmo THRILL´s effectiveness is not limited to a single species. Its versatile and lifelike presentation works exceptionally well for other predators that feed on small, fast-moving prey fish. Target perch, chub, trout, and even sea trout in rivers and coastal areas with this dynamic lure. Any predator that keys in on small, fleeing baitfish will find the THRILL´s frantic action impossible to ignore. Falling within the versatile 1-10 gr and 10-70 mm lure class, it´s a perfect addition to any light-tackle setup.Technical Specifications:- Type: Minnow / Sinking Crankbait- Weight: 7g (1/4oz)- Size : 70mm (7cm - 2 3/4´´)- Diving Depth: VARIABLE (0.5m to surface, depending on retrieve speed)- Action: High-Frequency Vibration / Wobble- Target Species: Asp, Perch, Chub, Trout. tradeinn Waveinn
