SALVIMAR Coated Ankle WeightAchieve perfect underwater trim and elevate your spearfishing game with the SALVIMAR Coated Ankle Weight. For the dedicated spearfisher and freediver, controlling buoyancy is the key to a successful and silent hunt. Unwanted lift in the legs and fins can compromise your position, create unnecessary movement, and instantly alert your prey. The SALVIMAR Coated Ankle Weight is the definitive solution, expertly engineered to anchor your lower body and provide the unparalleled stability needed for a stealthy and effective presence beneath the waves.Master the art of ambush fishing, where stillness is your greatest asset. The primary challenge in this demanding technique is keeping your fins firmly and silently on the bottom, preventing any sudden upward drift that could spook wary fish. These ankle weights are specifically designed to counteract the positive thrust of your neoprene wetsuit at the ankles, ensuring your fins remain flush with the seabed. This critical function allows for a more stable, concealed, and ultimately more successful hunt, making you a more efficient underwater predator.Beyond ambush tactics, these weights significantly improve your overall diving trim and hydrodynamics. By strategically distributing weight to your lower extremities, you achieve a more balanced and streamlined profile in the water. This enhanced trim reduces drag, conserves precious energy, and allows for more fluid and controlled movements. The ergonomic design and smooth, durable coating allow the weight to be comfortably inserted between your dive sock and wetsuit trousers. This secure, low-profile fit eliminates the risk of snagging on lines, rocks, or kelp, meaning you can focus entirely on your dive, not on adjusting your gear. The protective coating not only ensures longevity but also safeguards your expensive wetsuit and boat decks from scratches and impact. The SALVIMAR 500g Coated Ankle Weight is more than just an accessory, it´s a tactical advantage for the serious underwater hunter.
