Sambuca Buton was established in 1820 in Bologna by Jean Buton & C. Premium Distillery (Premiata Distilleria Jean Buton & C). It's an exquisite Italian sambuca with an aromatic, rich, harmonious, and balanced profile. To this day, it's crafted using the original recipe – a sophisticated blend of star anise, green anise, and nine aromatic herbs, including Cardamom, Sweet Orange, Ginger, Vanilla, and Cinnamon. Sambuca Buton presents itself as a transparent, shiny, and clear liquid. The dominant anise note on the nose is complemented by herbaceous, floral, and sweet spice undertones, heightened by its high alcohol content. On the palate, it delivers a robust flavor of anise and other aromatic herbs, accompanied by delicate floral and spicy notes. It boasts a distinctly sweet, silky, and velvety texture, leaving a lasting sensory impression. With its refreshing and balsamic sensory profile, both on the nose and the palate, Sambuca Buton is ideally enjoyed neat, served very cold, with or without a coffee bean, in a small goblet or a shot glass.
