Whether you are shooting expansive landscapes, towering architecture, immersive interiors, or the vastness of the night sky, this lens provides the performance and quality to bring your ambitious ideas to life.Designed as one of the essential Objectives for any serious Nikon Z series shooter, this lens prioritizes optical excellence and robust construction. The fast f/2.8 maximum aperture is a key benefit, allowing for incredible light-gathering capabilities. This makes it an ideal choice for challenging low-light situations, from twilight cityscapes to detailed astrophotography, enabling you to use lower ISO settings and achieve cleaner, more detailed results. The bright aperture also provides excellent separation between your subject and the background, creating a shallow depth of field that is rare for a lens this wide. The manual focus design of the SAMYANG MF 14mm f/2.8 offers a tactile and precise shooting experience. It puts you in complete creative control, allowing for deliberate and accurate focusing, which is critical for landscape and architectural work where sharpness across the frame is paramount. The smooth, long-throw focus ring makes pulling focus in video applications fluid and intuitive. With its extreme Angular perspective, this lens opens up a world of compositional possibilities. The massive 115.7° angle of view on a full-frame sensor lets you fit everything into the frame, creating a powerful sense of space and scale. You can exaggerate leading lines, get incredibly close to foreground elements for a dynamic three-dimensional feel, and capture scenes in a way that standard lenses simply cannot. The short focal length offers a wide variation space for depth of field, giving you creative control over what is sharp and what is not. Even at its closest focusing distance of just 28 cm, you can achieve unique close-up shots with an expansive, contextual background.Durability is assured with the integrated Samyang Weather Sealing, which protects the sensitive lens mount from dust, light rain, and moisture. This gives you the confidence to keep shooting when conditions are less than perfect, ensuring you never miss the shot. Despite its ultra-wide nature, the lens is engineered to produce a Beautiful Bokeh, rendering out-of-focus areas with a pleasing smoothness that adds a professional and artistic quality to your images.FEATURES:- Lens with Z mount, suitable e.g. for Nikon Z6 & Z7- For full-frame sensors, also for APS-C sensors- Manual focusing, 14 mm fixed focal length- Speed f/2.8 - ideal for shooting situations with difficult lighting conditions- Large image angle (115.7°), short focal length and offering wide variation space for depth of field- Closest focusing distance: 28 cm- With Samyang Weather Sealing- Beautiful Bokeh---Technical Specifications:* Lens Type: Ultra-Wide Angle Prime Lens* Focal Length: 14mm* Lens Mount: Nikon Z* Sensor Coverage: Full-Frame & APS-C* Aperture Range: f/2.8 - f/22* Focus Type: Manual Focus (MF)* Angle of View (Full-Frame): 115.7°* Angle of View (APS-C): 93.9°* Minimum Focusing Distance: 0.28m (0.92ft)* Optical Construction: 14 Elements in 10 Groups (including 3 High Refractive, 2 Aspherical, and 2 Extra-low Dispersion elements)* Aperture Blades: 6* Special Features: Weather Sealing at the Mount* Dimensions (L x D): 95.6 mm x 87 mm* Weight: approx. 800 g. tradeinn Techinn
