Saphena is a Class 1 medical device and conforms to the latest European Standards for graduated compression and also complies with the Medical Device Directive. The compression profile of 18mmHg (ankle), 14mmHg (calf) and 8mmHg (upper thigh) is in line with British Standard 7672:1993. These stockings have a anti slip gripper sole on the bottom of the foot, helping to prevent falls from slipping on slippery surfaces such as laminate or wooden flooring.
