SAVAGE GEAR Monster Slug Soft Lure 50g 250mm - The Predator Hunter RebornThe legend is back and more lethal than ever. For anglers dedicated to hunting the largest predators, the SAVAGE GEAR Monster Slug returns, re-engineered to dominate the water and trigger explosive strikes from the biggest and wariest pike and zander. This isn´t just a lure, it´s a proven big-fish magnet, now enhanced with cutting-edge technology to give you an unparalleled advantage on the water. The original Monster Slug is back, now featuring inside paint, an air-filled rear body, and a large built-in glass rattle to make it really stand out - not only on modern echo sounders but also in the catch rate.Rig it for vertical fishing, or on a shallow rig for twitching in the shallows. This lure has an incredible track record for catching giant zander and huge pike.Unleash Its Unmistakable PresenceWhat sets the reborn Monster Slug apart is its multi-sensory attack. The innovative inside paint technology provides a deep, realistic, and incredibly durable finish that won´t chip or fade after battles with toothy giants. This lure looks alive because its colour is part of its very being. The magic continues with its unique action and buoyancy. An air-filled chamber in the rear section of the body gives the lure a tantalizing, tail-up posture when paused during the retrieve or on the drop. This perfectly mimics a vulnerable, feeding, or dying baitfish—a sight that trophy predators simply cannot resist. This feature, combined with its long, slug-style body, produces an erratic, gliding, and darting action that breaks the mould and incites aggressive reaction strikes. To call fish from afar and provoke them in murky conditions, a large, built-in glass rattle is integrated into the body. It emits a loud, distinct clicking sound with every twitch and movement, creating a powerful acoustic footprint that cuts through the water, alerting predators to its presence and challenging them to attack.Versatility for Trophy HuntingThe Monster Slug´s design excels in a variety of presentations. For targeting suspended fish or those holding tight to deep structures, rig it on a jig head for vertical fishing. Its enticing fall and tail-up pause make it a master of this technique. Alternatively, rig it on a shallow-stinger or screw-in system for casting and twitching through shallow bays and over weed beds, creating an irresistible side-to-side dying fish action that draws out lurking monsters.
