This unique texture feels more natural to fish, encouraging them to hold on longer for a better hookset. When paused, the lure´s buoyant tail stands perfectly upright on the bottom, tauntingly waving at nearby fish like a small baitfish feeding. This vertical stand-up action is the hallmark of a true NED rig bait and is proven to trigger aggressive reaction strikes from even the most lethargic fish.Gain a crucial acoustic advantage with the integrated rattle slot. The lure comes equipped with a removable glass rattle that produces a sharp, high-pitched sound, adding another layer of attraction to call fish in from a distance, especially in murky water or low-light conditions. Fish with it for a stealthy approach, or insert the rattle to create a commotion and draw aggressive strikes.Versatility is paramount, and the Ned Dragon Tail Slug delivers. Its durable yet supple body is designed for flawless rigging. Pair it with a classic NED jig head for open-water scenarios, where its floating action can be fully appreciated. When fishing around vegetation, laydowns, or rocky structures, simply rig it on a wide-gap EWG hook for a completely weedless presentation that can go where other lures can´t. This adaptability makes it an essential tool for any angler´s tackle box, ready to tackle diverse conditions and environments.
