SAVAGE GEAR Sandeel V2 WL Sinking Soft Lure 22g 115mm: The Ultimate Predator DeceptionElevate your soft lure fishing to a new level with the SAVAGE GEAR Sandeel V2 WL Sinking lure. Engineered with an obsessive attention to detail, this lure is the culmination of extensive research into predator feeding habits and the hydrodynamics of their primary prey. Based on a meticulous 3D scan of a real sandeel, the Sandeel V2 boasts an incredibly lifelike profile and finish that will fool even the most cautious and pressured predators in both saltwater and freshwater environments. When fish are keyed in on slender baitfish, nothing outperforms the authenticity of the Sandeel V2.The true genius of this lure lies in its unparalleled action. On a steady retrieve, it exhibits a subtle yet vibrant kicking motion, perfectly mimicking a sandeel swimming for its life. The real magic, however, happens on the drop. As the lure sinks, it flutters and rolls enticingly, an action that has proven to be an irresistible trigger for following fish like sea bass, cod, pollock, wrasse, and halibut. This dynamic movement on the fall often converts follows into aggressive strikes, making it a formidable weapon for vertical jigging or cast-and-retrieve techniques.Designed for anglers who dare to fish where the big ones hide, the WL (Weedless) designation signifies its superior snag-resistant performance. The lure is equipped with a unique rise and stand-up jig head that ensures a perfect presentation on the bottom. When paused, it rests in a head-down, tail-up position, flawlessly imitating a sandeel attempting to burrow into the sand to escape danger. This stand-up presentation keeps the hook point shielded and ready, dramatically increasing your hook-up ratio while allowing you to confidently work the lure through dense kelp, over rocky structures, and in other high-snag zones where predators ambush their prey.Weighing a precise 22g, this model fits perfectly into the versatile 20-29 gr weight class, providing exceptional casting distance and a controlled sink rate to effectively target various depths. Its 115 mm length places it in the highly effective 101-150 mm size range, matching the most common baitfish profiles that predators actively hunt. For added attraction in murky water or to provoke a reaction strike, the lure body features a discreet internal glass rattle that emits a subtle, fish-attracting click. Further enhancing its appeal, the innovative Pro Peg body holder makes it possible to securely peg the body to the head with a toothpick, creating a simple and incredibly strong hold for aggressive casting and fighting tough fish.Technical Specifications:* Model: Sandeel V2 WL Sinking* Length: 115 mm* Weight: 22 g* Action: Sinking, with a lively kick on retrieve and a flutter-roll on the drop.* Design: Based on a 3D scan of a real sandeel for unparalleled realism.* Jig Head: Rise and stand-up design for perfect bottom presentation and snag resistance.* Rigging: Equipped with a Pro Peg body holder for a secure connection.* Attraction: Includes an internal glass rattle for added sonic appeal. tradeinn Waveinn
