It is the perfect solution for backpackers, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts who demand durability and flexibility from their gear.Offering additional protection for rugged or wet terrain, the Telos TR2 Lightfoot Footprint adds a 68D waterproof fabric layer under the tub floor of your tent. This robust shield safeguards your tent´s primary floor from abrasions, punctures, and tears caused by sharp rocks, sticks, and rough ground. It also prevents dirt and mud from soiling the tent body, simplifying pack-up and keeping your gear cleaner. The impressive 1200mm waterhead rating provides a reliable waterproof barrier, preventing ground moisture from seeping through and ensuring you stay dry and comfortable, even in damp conditions. One of the standout benefits of the Lightfoot Footprint is the incredible versatility it adds to your shelter system. It makes Dry Set-up and Take-Down a breeze, a game-changing feature for rainy weather. By setting up the fly and footprint first, you can create a dry shelter to assemble the inner tent, keeping it completely protected from the downpour. Similarly, you can pack away the inner tent first while remaining under the cover of the fly.Furthermore, this footprint allows for an easy Fly Only tent set-up for ultralight adventures. On minimalist trips or in dry, warm weather, leave the inner tent at home and use just the footprint and the tent fly to create a sturdy, superlight open-air shelter. This Fast Fly configuration is ideal for shaving significant weight from your pack while still providing excellent protection from rain and sun. The footprint is perfectly sized to fit the tent´s dimensions without extending beyond the perimeter, a crucial design detail that prevents water from pooling between the footprint and the tent floor during rainstorms.
