Shimano Fishing Purist Px1 Znder Dead Bait Carpfishing Rod. The PURIST PX1 Dead bait range has been designed for anglers who prefer to fish for pike and zander using dead baits. Combining excellent value with understated, classic cosmetics and class-leading actions, there are two powerful models for pike and a lighter model specialist designed for zander. If you are a dedicated predator angler who likes to fish for pike and zander using dead baits, or an angler who concentrates on predator fishing only in winter, the PURIST Dead bait range has something to offer. There are three models in the range. The shorter 10' (305cm) pike model balances perfectly with smaller SHIMANO Bait runners and is ideal for close range margin fishing, fishing from a boat, or for concentrating on smaller waters. The longer 12' pike model matches with larger SHIMANO Bait runners and offers slightly more power and casting performance. If you are a zander specialist you'll certainly appreciate the shorter 8' 10 (270cm), which has a much lighter casting weight of up to 15g, making it ideal for smaller baits and a forgiving fish-playing action.
