Its low-profile ´Shadow´ design tucks it safely under the cassette, protecting it from trailside obstacles like rocks and roots that would destroy a lesser derailleur.* Versatile, Rider-Tuned Performance: The integrated Mode Converter allows you to easily optimize the derailleur for your specific discipline. Switch to ´Freeride´ mode to accommodate wide-range cassettes (up to 36 teeth) for pedaling versatility, or select the ´Downhill´ mode for use with close-ratio race cassettes (up to 28 teeth), ensuring maximum chain tension and security.* Silent and Precise Shifting: Even in the roughest rock gardens, the Saint M820 remains quiet thanks to a urethane elastomer bump stopper that absorbs impact and dampens noise.
