SHIMANO DEORE XT HB-M785 Front HubAttributes: Front, MTB Cycling, Road CyclingExperience legendary reliability with the Shimano Deore XT HB-M785 front hub. Engineered for MTB, cyclocross, gravel, and road, this hub offers silky-smooth rotation via angular contact bearings, exceptional durability with robust sealing against elements, and a user-serviceable design for easy maintenance. Featuring a secure Center Lock rotor mount and a lightweight anodized aluminum shell, it´s built on proven Shimano technology for consistent, high-performance rides in any condition. Compatible with standard quick-release axles. The Shimano Deore XT series has long been the benchmark for performance, durability, and value, and the HB-M785 front hub proudly carries on this tradition. It is the cornerstone of a dependable and high-performing wheelset, designed to handle the rigors of aggressive trail riding while remaining smooth and efficient enough for long days on pavement or gravel. At the heart of the HB-M785 are Shimano´s signature angular contact cup and cone bearings. Unlike many sealed cartridge systems, this design is engineered to more effectively displace both vertical and lateral loads that are encountered during riding. This ensures incredibly fluid rotation under all conditions, from straight-line efforts to hard cornering G-forces. This superior load management not only enhances rolling efficiency but also significantly contributes to the hub´s long-term durability. Furthermore, this bearing system is fully serviceable, allowing meticulous riders and mechanics to clean, re-grease, and precisely adjust the preload for perfect performance and an extended lifespan.Battle the elements with complete confidence. The Deore XT HB-M785 features a sophisticated system of high-quality labyrinth and contact seals. This multi-layered barrier forms a formidable defense, effectively locking out water, mud, sand, and grit, and protecting the precision-ground bearing surfaces from contamination. The result is a hub that maintains its buttery-smooth performance ride after ride, drastically reducing the need for frequent intervention and ensuring unwavering reliability in the harshest riding environments.Braking performance is anchored by the quick and secure Center Lock rotor mounting system. This splined design provides a more rigid and secure connection between the hub and rotor compared to traditional 6-bolt systems, leading to improved braking power, consistency, and heat dissipation. Installation and removal are also simplified, requiring only a single lockring.Main Features:* Superior rolling efficiency and durability from Angular Contact Bearings* Secure and easy-to-install Center Lock disc brake rotor mount* Advanced Labyrinth and Contact sealing system for ultimate weather protection* Lightweight and durable anodized aluminum hub shell for strength and corrosion resistance* Fully user-serviceable design for long-term performance and maintenanceTechnical Specifications:* Model: HB-M785* Series: DEORE XT* Brake Type: Center Lock Disc Brake* Axle Type: Quick Release (QR)* Over Locknut Dimension (O.L.D.): 100 mm* Bearing Type: Cup & Cone (Angular Contact)* Sealing: Labyrinth & Contact* Spoke Holes: 32H / 36H. tradeinn Bikeinn
