ClosuresThe SHIMANO CS-M7100 Lock Ring functions as the definitive closure for your cassette assembly. It features precisely cut threads that engage seamlessly with the internal threads of a SHIMANO Micro Spline freehub body. When tightened to the recommended torque specification using a standard cassette tool, it applies even pressure across the cassette stack, compressing the sprockets and spacers together into a single, solid unit.
