Jam made from an ancient variety of figs, imported in the 18th century by a Macerata noblewoman. The extreme tenderness of the ripe fruit is revealed in the soft chunky texture with its typical grains. Excellent with white meats and delicate blue cheeses, such as sweet gorgonzola.
