Cetol Filter 7 Plus is a highly durable, solvent-borne woodstain that provides a translucent satin finish and offers protection from sunlight for exterior and interior timber. Suitable for softwood and hardwood joinery, it is an excellent choice for windows and doors. The stain can be used as a maintenance coat for existing woodstain systems or applied over a base stain of Cetol HLS on new or bare timbers. It features advanced UV light absorbers to help guard against sun damage and is quick-drying with good sanding response and adhesion to bare wood. It is not suitable for decking or other areas subjected to high levels of abrasion, and it can be overcoated with woodstains, paints, or colourless finishes when needed.
