General description A highly durable, medium build, solvent-borne woodstain that provides a highly translucent satin finish and offers outstanding protection from the damaging effects of sunlight. Cetol Filter 7 is designed for use on exterior softwood and hardwood joinery, including windows and doors. It can be applied as a maintenance coat for existing woodstain systems or over a base stain of Cetol HLS on new or bare timbers. However, it is not suitable for decking or areas subjected to high levels of abrasion.
