BARTON MARINE Series 1 Single Swivel Pulley with Becket & Rope Support | 8mmElevate your boat´s rigging and control systems with the BARTON MARINE Single Swivel Pulley, a pinnacle of performance and reliability in marine fitting. Designed for sailors who demand precision, strength, and efficiency, this Series 1 block is the ideal solution for a wide range of applications on dinghies, dayboats, and light cruising yachts. Whether you´re optimizing your mainsheet system, building a powerful vang cascade, or refining your control lines, this pulley delivers unparalleled performance where it matters most.Experience the significant advantage of its core design. The integrated swivel head rotates freely through 360 degrees, ensuring the block always orients itself perfectly to the direction of the load. This crucial feature prevents line twisting and kinking, guaranteeing a fair lead that reduces friction and minimizes wear on your ropes. The result is smoother, more responsive handling and a significant increase in the lifespan of your running rigging.Key Benefits & Superior FunctionalityThe standout feature of this single block is the integrated becket at its base. This strong, reliable attachment point allows for the easy creation of multi-purchase systems, such as a 2:1 tackle. By reeving a line through the becket, you can effectively halve the effort required to manage high-load lines, providing a critical mechanical advantage for mainsheets, cunninghams, outhauls, and boom vangs. This makes trimming and adjustments significantly easier, allowing for quicker and more precise sail control.Engineered for minimal friction and maximum durability, the sheave runs smoothly under load, ensuring your lines run freely with minimal effort. The carefully shaped cheeks of the block provide excellent rope support, guiding the line securely onto the sheave and preventing it from jamming or jumping out, even under dynamic, off-axis loads. This robust construction provides the peace of mind and reliability essential for the demanding marine environment.Main Features:* 360° Swivel Head: Ensures perfect alignment with the line to prevent twisting and reduce friction.* Integrated Becket: Enables the creation of powerful purchase systems for mechanical advantage.* Smooth-Running Sheave: Provides low-friction performance for effortless line handling.* High-Load Capacity: Engineered to handle significant working loads with an impressive safety margin.* Compact and Lightweight Design: Offers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, adding minimal weight to your rigging.* Versatile Application: Perfect for mainsheets, halyard leads, vang cascades, and various control line systems.Technical SpecificationsAs a leading choice in the Pulleys category, this block is built to precise standards for dependable performance.* Product Type: SINGLE BLOCK - SWIVEL + BECKET - Ø mm 8.* Sheave Size: 30mm x 12mm* Maximum Rope Diameter: 8 mm* Safe Working Load (SWL): 355 kg* Break Load: 710 kg* Overall Length: 84 mmChoose the BARTON MARINE Single Swivel Pulley for a tangible upgrade in your boat´s fitting.
