The SIP METEOR 8000 Panoramic Electronic Headshield uses True Colour HD LCD lens technology and panoramic windows to enhance detail, clarity, and peripheral vision during welding tasks. It features a 100 mm by 83 mm active viewing area, a wide shade range (9–13 DIN for arc/MIG/TIG; 4 DIN for grinding; 5–9 DIN for plasma), and a rapid light-to-dark response of 1/10,000 second. Powered by a solar panel with a CR2450 lithium battery, it includes an adjustable padded headband, a side-mounted control knob for sensitivity, and a test button to verify shielding functions. A low shield power warning light provides an at-a-glance indication of power status, and panoramic side windows improve peripheral awareness across applications for home, trade, and professional welding environments.
