Hand refractometer for measuring sugar content in fruit concentrates. A high-quality refractometer/brix meter with automatic temperature compensation is mainly intended for measuring the sugar content in fruit concentrates/juices, syrups, jams, condensed milk etc. in the range of 0-32% Brix. A refractometer is a device for measuring the refractive index of a light beam. In this way, the composition of liquid mixtures or the purity of substances can be determined. Brix is used to measure the concentration of solutes (mainly sugar) in fruits, vegetables, juices, musts, soft drinks, etc. % Brix is a universal unit for sugar content associated with sucrose (beet sugar). Characterises the concentration of sucrose in mass percentages, 1% Brix = 1 g sucrose (beet sugar) in 100 g e.g. cider. ATC / automatic temperature compensation system (no calibration required at 0°C to 30°C). Main advantages: Compact device size. The device does not require a battery and does not need to be assembled. High operational safety and long service life. Low deviation and high measurement accuracy. The housing of the device is made of a lightweight and durable special aluminium alloy. It requires virtually no maintenance. Part of the device is equipped with a soft rubber case Package contents: 1 refractometer for measuring the sugar content 1 piece practical and mechanically resistant plastic case 1 sample dropper 1 screwdriver for calibrating the device 1 piece anti-static cleaning cloth for the optical prism Note: The special calibration solution is not included! Technical parameters: fruit juice concentration - range: 0 - 32%, accuracy: +/- 0.2%, dimensions: 5.5 x 7.5 x 20.5 cm, weight of refractometer: 117 g refractometer weight including packaging: 270 g
